Domains and Web Hosting
I research domain availability using AjaxWhoIs, register my domains at NameCheap and host my websites with HostGator.

Web Design & Content Management
I create my websites and squeeze pages in Adobe Dreamweaver. My blog and content sites use the WordPress platform.

I use FileZilla to transfer files between my computer and my webhost and store larger “bandwidth hungry” files using Amazon’s S3 service.

Internet Browser
I use FireFox exclusively as I make great use of the following add-ons: Alexa Sparky, ColorZilla, Search Status, FireBug & Web Developer

Email Management
I use Gmail in Google Apps and use ThunderBird to check all of my Gmail accounts at once. I also use the following Thunderbird add-ons: Folderpane Tools and MinimizeToTray.

Password Management
I use RoboForm to manage all my passwords. I also have RoboForm2Go and use GoodSync to keep multiple accounts in sync.

Keyword & Niche Research
For keyword research I use the Google AdWords Keyword Tool. If I’m looking for a new niche I’ll start with Google’s Search Based Keyword Tool to help with ideas and then use Micro Niche Finder to drill down to find the best high search volume/low competition niche markets.

Product Creation
My written reports are created and converted to PDF using OpenOffice Writer, my videos using Camtasia and for screenshots I use SnagIt. My live videos are recorded using my Sony camcorder and are produced and edited using Sony Vegas Movie Studio 9 Platinum.

Affiliate Products
I find digital affiliate products to promote at ClickBank and physical affiliate products using Amazon’s Affiliate program.

Secure Downloads
To deliver my digital information products safely and securely I use DLGuard.

Payment Processing
I currently use PayPal and ClickBank to handle my payment processing.

I believe in being transparent in everything I do online and the above products and services are what I ACTUALLY USE in my online publishing business.
